HOW THE DESIGN PROCESS WORKS:

INITIAL STEPS
Upon receipt of your order, you will be contacted (usually within the first day) and asked to either fill out our non-obligatory Logo Questionnaire* form if you haven't already done so - or simply email us details about your company. Sketches, photos & other images can be sent to us as an email attachment or faxed directly. Your ideas are most welcome. We will then study your business, your website, clientele, make note of your preferences and keep in contact with you throughout the designing process.

 
      
  

SAMPLE REVIEWS & REVISIONS
Within 5 business days via email, you'll receive 4-5 initial logo design concepts. If none of them make you sit up in your chair and say 'Nice! 'Cool!' or 'Wow' we will create another 2 entirely new designs. by then, both of us will have a much better understanding of what you really want. We allow for 3-6 revisions of that chosen design. The purpose of the revision process is to create Responses that move forward in a specific direction as determined by the client. The client may request significant changes in the 1st and 2nd cycles, and the Responses might be quite different in nature from the original composition chosen. By the 3rd revision request, Client’s requests shall be limited to modifications of the current composition only. Revision requests that depart from the current composition will be honored and completed in the same timely manner, however; 24K Gold Graphics™ reserves the right to charge $30/hour overtime fee for each such Revision (with a minimum of $30). Revisions can take anywhere from 1-5 business days and will be sent as an email attachment for your final approval.


 
      
   FINAL LOGO/CREST DESIGN
Once we receive your final approval we'll email as an attachment, your logo is the standard jpeg or gif and tiff formatting. Your logo design is kept on file (usually for 2 or more years) - should you need any future alterations or lose your files altogether. There is a $25 fee for re-sending file formats. For stationery, it's $45. If you like, we can email both templates or files directly to both you and your printer for speedier results.

  • WHO OWNS THE RIGHTS TO MY LOGO?
    Once we receive your payment in full and the final design has been sent, You own complete rights to the final logo design to use any way you wish for as long as you wish. Watch out for places who may charge you twice for the same design! Once to design it - and twice to own it! This practice is at the very least, misleading. As far as we're concerned, you pay for it - you own it. It's that simple. The only stipulation we make, is that we reserve the rights to all sample designs not chosen, as well as the right to display your logo and testimony as part of our public portfolio promotion.


  • PRE-MADE AND CUSTOM MADE LOGOS
    The guarantee we make is that you are the sole owner of our original designs once purchased and delivered. We retain no copyright (a registered trademark which you will need to apply for) to any logo you purchase from us and that we promise to never to re-sell the design again to anyone else.  We only reserve the right to display it in our public portfolio for promotional purposes only.  We can not be held liable for any future claims of similarity, fees, losses or assessments as a result of your use of the logo you purchased.


  • ARE YOUR LOGO'S ONE-OF-A-KIND?
    Absolutely! Our logos are all created from scratch and are of our own original concepts. They're not recycled 'clip art' logos you find so commonly around the internet and other places. Each logo is carefully and skillfully tayored to fit your individual company.

    The plain fact of the matter is, no one can guarantee against a rare occurance of a coincidental design - because no designer has the resources, time or money (costing upwards of $400) to research registry databases. The only guarantee we can make to you is that we are perfectly willing to re-design your logo for free should this ever happen. You'll find that no other logo designer can or will make the same guarantee.

  • DO YOU DO ANY ACTUAL PRINTING?
    Although we produce quality 'camera-ready' artwork for printing, we are not a print shop and do not do the actual printing for the logos, crests or stationery. Your finished artwork is sent to you as an email attachment, or directly mailed to you on CD. For printing, you (or we) simply email your favorite printer directly or take the CD (which contains your camera-ready artwork files) down to them and they will do the rest. If you don't already have a printer, we suggest finding one that has a digital press like Sir Speedy or FedEx/Kinkos. They're not only fast, but reasonably priced and have a website for convenient online ordering.

  • FAST, EFFICIENT & RELIABLE SERVICE: Although we strive hard to complete every project in a quick and timely manner, general turn-around time depends heavily on customer deadlines, good and timely customer communication, and the overall amount and scope of the work required. At times we can experience an unusually high volume of orders at a time, in such cases we will notify clients in advance of any expected delays in scheduling.

  • HOW WILL THE SAMPLES & FINISHED LOGO BE SENT?
    We send all samples and the final logo designs electronically via email attachments. The samples are jpegs or gifs, but the final printable version will be sent as a Tiff. These are the standard formats. If non-standard formats or unusually large printable images (larger than 3-6") are requested, there may be an additional charge. A CD is extra and are not usually necessary. Once you receive anything as a tiff or (in special cases) an ai format, it's considered done. To make any new changes after that, we would need to request an additional $45/hour (with a minimum of $45) to re-format the completed image.

  • CAN YOU DESIGN STATIONERY & BUSINESS CARDS USING MY NEW LOGO/CREST?
    Absolutely! We offer an affordable professionally designed Stationery (Letterhead, Business Card & Envelope) package found on our ORDERING PAGE. Available in 3-4 concepts with 3-6 revisions.


  • WHAT IF I WISH TO PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE OF THE SAMPLE DESIGNS YOU SEND ME?
    Surprisingly, we get asked this question quite often.
    FACTS: All samples not chosen can be made available (at our discretion) for resale and added to our 'pre-made' logo section for the public at $99. Rest assured we only re-sell samples not closely related to your finished original design. But if you would like to purchase an additional design from among the samples we send you, you may do so at the very reasonable price of just $99 each. That's 2 original logo designs for less than the price of what most people pay for just one!

OBLIGATIONS, TERMS & CONDITIONS

 
 
  • CLIENT COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY & PROJECT DURATION TERMS
    Client agrees the following terms: to provide timely responses to 24K Gold Graphics™ after receiving status notifications from 24K Gold Graphics™. The Client shall have 20 days to respond to each set of Responses submitted to Client for review. If after 20 days the Client has failed to so respond, 24K Gold Graphics™ will assume the Project complete and the Project shall be deemed to be complete. At such time, 24K Gold Graphics™ shall will have no further obligation to Client, and Client shall forfeit to 24K Gold Graphics™ all fees and expenses associated with work performed by 24K Gold Graphics™. DURATION: The overall duration of the project will not exceed 45 DAYS FROM THE INITIAL DATE OF PURCHASE. After such time, 24K Gold Graphics™ shall will have no further obligation to Client, and Client shall forfeit all fees and expenses associated with work performed by 24K Gold Graphics™. If after such time the client wishes to continue further services, 24K Gold Graphics™ reserves the right to charge additional $45/hour overtime fees for each revision, format change, design alteration or other service. (with a minimum of $45 per each additional request).

  • REFUND POLICY
    A full refund less an administration charge of $35 will be made to the Client if the Client changes their mind about placing an order for a logo/crest or other graphic design. Such a refund (minus administration fee) will be paid to you within 10 days of placing the order. The client is entitled to 1/2 the full price minus any processing fees from Paypal if, after seeing the initial designs does not wish to proceed any further. But once the Client requests revisions for any of the initial concepts, the Client shall forfeit the right to any refund. The Client shall also forfeit the right to a refund AND ANY FURTHER REVISONS OR SERVICES and incur additional fees to continue services if the client does not respond in a timely manner as outlined in CLIENT COMMUNICATION RESPONSIBILITY. (20 days from the last date of contact between parties or placement of order). Acceptance of any refund shall constitute the Client’s sole and exclusive remedy. Slogans and Animated Designs are non-refundable. Should the Client receive such a refund, Client acknowledges that it will have no right (express or implied) to use any response or other work product, slogans, content, or media, nor any ownership interest in or to the same. Refunds are only available to the actual Client for whom the logo was created. No refund is available for design firms or for those who order our design services on behalf of another entity.

  • QUOTE ESTIMATES
    Quotes given by 24K Gold Graphics™ for any project, are only good for 10 days. 24K Gold Graphics™ cannot guarantee quotes will not increase in price after said 10 days.


    GENERAL TERMS, CONDITIONS & MISCELLANEOUS


    24K Gold Graphics™ does not and will not work for persons or businesses involved with promoting ADULT-ORIENTED, ILLEGAL, IMMORAL OR OTHERWISE OFFENSIVE SUBJECT MATTER, be that any persons, businesses, media, websites, publications, distribution or manufacturing companies etc., at the sole discretion of 24K Gold Graphics™. This is a family-oriented business run with respect to family-oriented visitors and clients.

    24K Gold Graphics™ reserves the right to display any and all designs done for clients as part of the 24K Gold Graphics™ portfolio, or for promotional usage on our website or other media.

    Client testimonies may be also be published at the descretion of 24K Gold Graphics™ for promotional usage (not using full names whenever possible).

    24K Gold Graphics™ reserves all rights to artwork NOT CHOSEN by the customer when the customer is given several designs to choose from. 24K Gold Graphics™ also reserves the right to display and resell any such artwork.
